Antique 19th Century Victorian Walnut Campaign Writing Box With Fitted Interior
A lovely antique 19th century Victorian writing box. The box is made out of walnut with brass furnishing. When opening the box, it has a lovely leather surface. The surface opens up on both sides to reveal a hidden compartment. At the bottom of there are two inkwells, two boxes and a pen holder. On the left hand side of the box there's a drawer that can be opened by lifting the pin out. Unfortunately the lid doesn't close, there's a huge crack on the lid, parts of the box and the leather has started to deteriorate and there's scratches on the brass and wood; see images for further details. however the item is in an excellent condition.
